Candidates and employers are encouraged to “think outside the box” and stand-out from the pack whether you’re advertising a position or looking to score a job in golf.

Dawn Schlesinger a recruiter by trade, was an avid golfer in the late 90’s.  Noticing employment within the golf industry fragmented, Dawn came up with the idea of developing a job board for golf.

She attended the Las Vegas PGA Show in August of 2000 conducting her own market research by going booth-to-booth asking exhibitors and attendees if they would use a job board for golf only.

Results were overwhelmingly positive…the rest is history.

GolfSurfin.com launched in October of 2000.
